Here's what happens (and what doesn't happen) with your data when you use VitalsFixer.
Last updated: March 10, 2026We collect as little personal information as reasonably possible, we don't sell your data, and we only use what we do collect to keep the tool running, improve it, and understand how people are using it. If something here ever changes in a big way, we'll update this page.
When you run an analysis, you type in a URL. That URL is sent to our servers and to third‑party services like Google PageSpeed Insights so we can run the checks and return a report. The URL itself may be logged briefly in server logs for things like debugging, abuse prevention, and usage stats.
Like most sites, we also receive technical information automatically from your browser, such as your IP address, browser type, general location (country/region level), and which pages you visited on our site. This usually comes through standard web server logs and any analytics tools we use.
We may use privacy‑friendly analytics to understand basic usage patterns: how many people visit, which pages get attention, and whether anyone actually scrolls past the fold. We're not interested in building creepy individual profiles. We care more about questions like "are people actually finding the analyzer?" than "what did Karen from Ohio click at 3:07 PM".
If we use cookies, they're generally there to keep the site functional and measure high‑level usage. You can usually block or clear cookies in your browser settings if you prefer.
To run performance checks, VitalsFixer calls external APIs, such as Google PageSpeed Insights. When we send a URL to those services, they handle that data under their own privacy policies. We don't control how they store or process that information, but we only use reputable providers that are widely used in the industry.
We may also use hosting providers, email services, and analytics tools. These vendors can process limited data on our behalf (for example, logs on a hosting platform). We don't sell your data, and we don't hand it over to random third parties for marketing.
The information we collect helps us:
• Run the performance analysis you requested.
• Keep the site secure and spot abuse or attacks.
• See which features people actually use so we know what to improve or remove.
• Fix bugs and understand where things break.
We're not in the business of building giant advertising profiles or following you around the internet. That sounds exhausting.
Server logs and analytics data are kept for a limited time, mainly so we can troubleshoot issues, understand traffic patterns, and keep the service stable. We don't have much interest in hanging onto old logs forever if they're no longer useful.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under data protection laws (for example GDPR in the EU/EEA) such as requesting access to data we hold about you, asking for corrections, or asking us to delete certain information.
If you want to exercise any of those rights, reach out and we'll do our best to help, within the limits of what we actually collect and what we're legally required to keep.
VitalsFixer is not designed for children and isn't marketed to them. If you're a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we'll look into it and remove anything we reasonably can.
We take reasonable steps to keep data secure, such as using reputable hosting, enabling HTTPS, and avoiding unnecessary data collection in the first place. That said, no system on the internet is perfectly secure, and we can't promise otherwise.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the project evolves or as laws change. When that happens, we'll adjust the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. If the changes are significant, we'll try to make that clear rather than hiding it in the fine print.
If you have questions, concerns, or just want something explained in simpler words than what's written here, send us a message. We'd rather clarify than have you guess.
